This is used to heat the carbon steel to appropriately 40 deg c above AC3 or AC1 for 1hr and slowly cooled 38 deg c 1hr usually furnace cooled. The furnace shall be offed while steel is still inside. This result is coarse pearlistic structure. Fully annealed steel is soft and ductile. This could be done is oil fired, electrical or L P G furnace . The furnace shall be automatically controlled and ceramin fiber insulated with suitable color and structure.
