This is used to heat the steel parts to 482 to 621 deg c in an atmosphere of ammonia gas and dissociated ammonia. The case depth is depending upon the time kept in the inside chamber. Nitride forming elements are used for this method. The advantage of the process is little distortion, the part can be tempered after being quenched. Finding application in spherodized annealing of alloy steel bars, Bell Type Bogie Hearth Furnace offered can work with maximum temperatures of 850 Degree C and have a working capacity of 1500 to 3000 kg. Providing consistent support to processes like hardening, stress relieving, annealing, normalizing, tempering and others, the system can handle steel metal of different grades that are available in form of fabricated components, forgings, castings and in other finishes. Its features include available for any charge weights, an option of the precise setting of operating temperature, available in single/ double bogie option, the support provided of motorized rack and pinion drive system, comes with an effective sealing arrangement, support of high-velocity burners and others.

In Carburizing furnace a process used harden steel with a carbon content between oil and 0.3 wt % c . In this process steel is introduced to a carbon rich environment and elevated temperature for a certain amount of time. Parts are heated at 927 deg c. Acetone, methanol and hydrogen are used for this process. Pack Carburizing and liquid Carburizing are also done using this furnace.
